  • Free packages:

    (1) Free packages for all: Customers who register with Huawei Cloud after January 7, 2024 00:00:00 GMT+08:00 are eligible for the free usage of specified products for 12 months from the registration date. (The specific product specifications and free usage are displayed on the promotional campaign page.)

    (2) Free packages for enterprises: Users who have registered enterprise accounts or upgraded their accounts to enterprise accounts and have not used cloud services are eligible for this kind of package.

  • Rules for the same user:

    Each new user can purchase only one newcomer package. Huawei Cloud may deem different accounts as belonging to the same user based on the information presented during account registration, login, and use.

    Different accounts are deemed belonging to the same user when accounts are registered with the same identification number (such as ID number, passport number, driver's license ID, and unique enterprise identification number), when the domain name holders are the same entity (such as the same person or enterprise), or when the same mobile number, device, or IP address is used across accounts.

  • If your account has unpaid orders, the approval of your trial use will fail. To become eligible for the trial use, you need to discard the unpaid orders in Billing Center > Orders > Unpaid Orders.

  • When a free package expires or a free quota is used up, Huawei Cloud will charge you based on the standard prices on the official website. Some products of free packages are not supported in certain Huawei Cloud regions. You can go to Billing Center > Promotions > Free Packages to view the applicable scope and usage of your free package.

  • Please provide valid contact information. Huawei Cloud may contact you based on the information you provide. If we cannot reach you through the contact information you provide, you understand and agree that Huawei Cloud cannot notify you if your account balance is insufficient to cover service fees. Huawei Cloud has the right to freeze your resources and terminate the service. If the service is terminated, data will be deleted and cannot be restored.

  • To ensure fairness and impartiality, Huawei Cloud has the right to disqualify a customer from the campaign and to restrict accounts when we have reasonable grounds to believe:

    (1) The customer attained campaign products in a malicious manner. This may refer to registering fraudulent accounts to gain an unfair advantage in attaining campaign resources.

    (2) The customer has used purchased resources to engage in illegal activities. For example, the customer has concealed information, fabricated information, committed fraud, or used other inappropriate means, such as malicious cash-outs, network attacks, and false transactions, to obtain benefits. In this case, Huawei Cloud has the right to withdraw related benefits from the customer, cancel transactions that violate regulations, and investigate the customer's legal liabilities if necessary.

  • Huawei Cloud customers participating in this campaign have acknowledged and agreed to comply with HUAWEI CLOUD Customer Agreement and its attachments, including Acceptable Use Policy and Privacy Statement.

Are There Any Fees Involved When Using a Free Package?

No. We will not charge you any fees until the free package expires or once the free quota is used up.

Note:

· Please look out for the free trial quota. When the quota is used up, unsubscribe from resources in a timely manner. Otherwise, you will begin to be charged for services and resources. If you are in arrears, services you have subscribed to will be automatically frozen.

How Will I Be Billed After a Free Package Expires or a Free Quota Is Used Up?

You will only be charged for the resources you use based on the standard prices on the official website. Click to view the pricing details of each product.

Why Do I Have to Specify a Payment Method?

A payment method must be specified to purchase Huawei Cloud products and services. Otherwise, you can only view product and service information but cannot purchase them. You can add a credit card and set it as your default payment method. For details, see Adding a Payment Method. Huawei Cloud will require an authorization deposit to verify that your credit card is valid. This authorization deposit is returned to your credit card at a later stage.

Huawei Cloud regions where payment methods cannot be specified (Brazil, Peru, and Chile) are not eligible for free trials.

In Which Huawei Cloud Regions Are Free Packages Available?

You can use free packages in the following Huawei Cloud regions: CN-HongKong, AP-Bangkok, AP-Singapore, AF-Johannesburg, LA-Santiago, LA-Mexico City1, LA-Sao Paulo1, and CN North-Beijing4 (International). Your resource usage in all of these regions will consume the quota of your free package.

Which Billing Modes Are Supported by Free Packages?

Free packages support only the pay-per-use billing mode. The yearly/monthly billing mode is not supported by free packages. The validity period of an enterprise package is displayed on the promotional campaign page.

How Do I Become an Enterprise Customer?

On the Huawei Cloud console, hover your cursor over your account and choose Basic Information. On the displayed page, click Complete Information in the HUAWEI CLOUD Tenant Information area to upgrade your account to an enterprise account.
