Are there any extra fees for a free package?

No. You won't be charged until the free packages expire or the free quota is used up.
· The free trial is only available on the product specifications listed on this webpage. Please confirm the product specifications before you purchase to avoid excess
expenditure.
· We will send you an email the instant your free trial resources are used up, so you can release the resources you no longer need. Excess resource usage will be billed
based on standard pay-per-use pricing.
How will I be charged after the packages expire or the free quota is used up?

You will be charged according to the standard prices.
Why do I have to add a payment method?

If you do not add a payment method, you can only view cloud services but cannot purchase them. You need to add a credit card and set it as the default payment method. For details, search for "Adding a Payment Method". HUAWEI CLOUD will charge you a small but refundable deposit to verify that your credit card is valid.
In which regions are the free packages available?

Free packages are only available at these regions Hong Kong, Bangkok, Singapore, Johannesburg, Santiago, Mexico City1, and Sao Paulo1.
What billing mode do free packages support?

Free packages can be used only when you choose the pay-per-use billing mode and certain product specifications.
How are the free use hours calculated?

The total number of hours includes only the duration during which you use the cloud resources.

The 1500-hours free trial is for new users who register with HUAWEI CLOUD from August 26, 2019 14:00:00 GMT+08:00 to December 31, 2022 23:59:59 GMT +8:00. The trial is valid for 12 months from your date of registration. It entitles you to 1500 hours of free usage of 10 popular products.
If you are an enterprise user, you must have completed enterprise real-name authentication to claim your trial.
Your usage of the 1500-hours Free Packages in any region will be automatically calculated. If a free package expires or the free quota is used up, HUAWEI CLOUD will charge you according to the standard prices listed on the official website.Click Billing > Free Packages to check whether free packages are available in the regions you intend to select.
According to the HUAWEI CLOUD Customer Agreement, HUAWEI CLOUD has the right to freeze or terminate your account if it is registered for wrongful purposes or if you use HUAWEI CLOUD resources for card theft, fraud, or any other illegal purposes.
HUAWEI CLOUD may contact you via the contact information you provide if you are found to be using cloud resources for wrongful purposes. If you cannot be contacted, HUAWEI CLOUD reserves the right to freeze or terminate your use of cloud resources and services and terminate your account.
Each user is eligible for the free trial package only once. Each user is uniquely identified by an ID (e.g. citizen ID, passport, driver's license, or a unique company identification number) plus a mobile number.
